"I was born and raised in Budapest, Hungary. Since I remember I had a deep admiration for animals, especially dogs. While still in middle school, I regularly volunteered to take care of dogs, cats and birds of my friends and neighbors. In 1982, I acquired my first German Shepherd puppy and I immediately joined a local obedience club. Within one year I was competing with my dog in the sport of WPO (a former police dog sport in Hungary)."
After moving to the United States, Ms Racsko accepted teaching positions with several professional dog businesses and, in 1995, she started her own animal behavior business under the name of Canine Communications. A year later she expanded the services to include a complete line of training, coaching and equipment sales under a new name – Los Angeles K-9 Services.
In 1998, to complement the services offered by Los Angeles K-9 Services, Ms Racsko established a small breeding kennel - Danubius Kennels - for the purpose of promoting the finest in German Shepherd dogs, strictly bred by German standard.
